DAY # 21 Tomato Feta Dip

This was literally one of the first 5 recipes i ever pinned.  I had only tasted Feta cheese on pizza a few times but the picture of the dip looked so good that i just had to give it a try.  We were invited to a New Year's Eve party and i was asked to bring a few appetizers.  I knew immediately that i wanted to bring this dip and maybe a dessert dip (that's my next post!) but my sweet carnivore husband insisted that i bring the buffalo chicken dip that everyone loves so much.  In the end i didn't even have the time for the buffalo chicken dip but this was quick and easy and a HUGE hit with everyone who tried it  :)

Here's my version of the recipe...

6 Roma tomatoes diced
1 bunch of green onions diced
2 tbs olive oil
1 container of crumbled Feta cheese
Greek Seasoning to taste
1 Fresh Baguette sliced into thin pieces

I went ahead and diced and premeasured all of the ingredients and put it all into bags so that i could just take it to the party and put it all together when i got there.

Directions:
Drizzle the olive oil onto a platter, dump tomatoes, onions, and feta on top and mix well.  Sprinkle with Greek seasoning and mix, taste, and add more seasoning if needed.  Some people will just dip the bread into the dip while others may want a spoon to put the dip onto the bread.  I prefer the spoon, so you might leave a spoon on the platter  :)

Everyone just raved about how good this was and it was relatively healthy  :)
